Wood Embellishment The Faux Intarsia series: decorating with paint, stain, and pyrography to create a panel that looks like historical intarsia or marquetry. There are three approaches to this project on this site. 1. As a way to decorate with heraldry 2. As a documented entry for an A&S competition/display or 3. As a beginning-to-end project diary. The project diary is my favorite, has lots of photos! However, each article has something the other two don't have. Game Boards, Burned. Simply pyrography to create period-style games. Painted Nine-Man-Morris Board: Documentation and creation of a pre-17th c. reconstruction game board. Questions, comments, suggestions, thoughts?
