Professional
Perpetually under construction, this page leads to aspects of my professional life, including educational background, paid employments, hobby businesses, and volunteer opportunities that have made use of or developed my professional skills. Initially, I intended for this to be an entirely self-contained section, but in developing this section, I came to realize that I have interwoven my personal and professional life so completely that one aspect cannot be considered without the other.
Resume
The standard short list of educational, employment, and volunteer experiences one generally sends to prospective employers.
Employment Essay: A resume in essay style, prepared as part of the exam packet for a job with the State of Wisconsin. Specifically covers my work at Trinity Services and my first position with Bethesda Lutheran Homes and Services, Residential Services Supervisor.
Vitae
Extensive list of all activities that support one's marketable skills. Few employers ask for vitaes these days, but they are nonetheless worth keeping. From a vitae, once can build a targeted resume or reassess one's skill set. For instance, one might never realize my computer skills from my resume, but my vitae makes it very clear that I have significant experience.
