Here's to the folks who help!

The Facts

The plain fact of the matter is that I've gone back to nursing school. That spells poverty. We need nurses, though, so off I went. However, it costs me about $150 a year to keep this site online. That's big money when your life is about college and eating beans on toast. I can stop with the internet access from home and just use the library computers, thereby getting rid of the cost of internet access, and I can move all this site to, say, Geocities, but it really works better left here. Just because these are entirely casual pages doesn't mean that the information they contain isn't worthwhile. If the site is of use to you, I'd be grateful for a little help in keeping it online in its current form. I don't mind the library computers, but I'd like the site to stay put.

What You Can Do

1. Easiest, and no cost to you: Click through the Google ads. A lot. A. Very. Lot. Please. I know it's annoying. Be strong for me, and you'll be strong for all of us.

2. Visit the CafePress site and Buy Something. I need the free shops, so there's plenty of them. The mark-ups are in the $1-$2 range. Currently functioning:

    3.
Willing to part with money, but don't want to buy more stuff from CafePress? Consider donating via PayPal. I'm not going to bother you with that snazzy PayPal "Donate Now!" button, but I will tell you that you can donate to me simply by going to your paypal acount and sending money to merouda at hotmail dot com.

    4. Want to get something for your money, but not from CafePress? Here are some other choices, with random chances of something available at the time you click through; it takes time to put these products together.

    • Dreaming Gryphon: A Lulu.com storefront. Books require writing a bit more formal than a web page, for sure and certain. But it's worth it! I allow PDF sales, so try a short story for 2-4 dollars and then come back for real books!
    • Darkwode: Play an old shareware game on your computer. I was far more careless with my spelling back then, but the games are fun and still downloaded regularly. If you want one for your Commodore 64, all are still available at about $25 a piece. However, as the files were created in the '80's, the payment address is not correct. Paypal to merouda at hotmail dot come is your best bet, or contact me for a snail mail address.
    • Merouda at Esty: Art, journals, clothing, accessories. All hand made.
    • Merouda at eBay: Stuff of all sorts. This is the "About Me" page; if I have any sales active, they'll show up here.

Use your "back" function to return!
